My coaching philosophy is based on the belief that every individual deserves to create the life they desire. I welcome each client with curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to providing a nonjudgemental, neurodiversity affirming space that respects the power of awe, playfulness, and collaboration. As a systems thinker, I draw from experience in behavior change, evaluation and learning, strategy development, reflective practice, and always, a sense of humor to inform our sessions.
Together, we will pay attention to points of excessive friction, or misalignment, in your life, reflect on when you may be overwhelmed by the idea of “shoulds”, and focus on exploring what you need to live a proactively authentic life.
Building upon masters degrees in Public Health and International Peace & Conflict Resolution, I received my training at the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA). ADDCA is the first and largest comprehensive ADHD coach training program fully accredited by the ICF and PAAC, the governing bodies of the Life Coaching and ADHD Coaching Professions.
I believe sustainable change comes from cultivating an understanding of the underlying beliefs and patterns that limit or propel us, and using what we learn to create a way forward. My approach is centered on supporting my clients to grow their self-awareness by identifying their strengths, interests, values, and aspirations or goals. We then work with their natural momentum to design a path to achieve the changes they want to make in their life.
From mapping strategies that address specific tasks, to holding space for you to organize your thoughts by thinking aloud, or anything that may come between, it would be my pleasure to be your coach.
